A background helper that turns the EINVOICE_FOR Excel export into ready E-Invoice JSON automatically — no browser, no re-upload, one install per PC.
01 — Overview
Right now, turning a PO export into E-Invoice JSON means opening the E-Invoice & E-Waybill tool on the website and uploading the Excel file by hand. The Auto-Watcher does the same conversion in the background, on your own PC, the moment the file lands in your Downloads folder.
Install it once. From then on, every EINVOICE_FOR...xlsx file you download gets a matching .json file next to it within a few seconds — automatically, at every login, with no window ever appearing on screen.
It only reacts to files that land after it's installed and running — anything already sitting in Downloads from before is left alone.
02 — One-time setup
From the site sidebar, click E-Invoice & E-Waybill JSON Builder. It opens in a new tab.
Marked with a small NEW badge. Downloads EInvoiceSetup.exe to your Downloads folder.
Double-click EInvoiceSetup.exe. Windows SmartScreen will likely flag it as unrecognized (it isn't code-signed): click More info → Run anyway.
A console window flashes briefly, then closes — that's normal. It copies itself into %LOCALAPPDATA%\EInvoiceWatcher\, writes a default seller profile, registers a hidden auto-start task, and starts watching immediately.
Nothing to configure — no dialogs, no folders to pick. Runs at every login from now on, on its own.
03 — Day to day
Nothing to open, nothing to remember. Just work as usual:
Filename must start with EINVOICE_FOR and land in your Downloads folder — including Chrome's auto-numbered duplicates like EINVOICE_FOR (2).xlsx.
It checks every 3 seconds, and waits until the file has stopped growing before converting it — so a still-downloading file is never read half-finished.
Same folder, same name, .json instead of .xlsx — ready to upload straight to the IRP or wherever it's needed.
